Untold Stories was a project between 2015-2017. It gave voice to the very people who have had the basic human rights taken from them. Here, people who have experienced human right violations were more than numbers in vast statistics. Those who had their stories told here on Untold Stories were the exact people who had been oppressed and forced into silence. Untold Stories told human rights stories with a focus on press freedom, freedom of expression and life in exile. Countries in focus were Ethiopia, Eritrea and Egypt, the countries with the highest number of jailed journalists in Africa.
